The terminal also includes 13 gates, four airbridges and 11 aircraft stands. The second level includes a VIP lounge, restaurants, bars, cafes, newsagent/tobacconist, gift shop, car rental service, free wireless internet service and facilities for disabled people. The first level of the terminal contains an international and domestic flight arrivals area, check-in counters, money exchange and ATMs. The airport has a two-level passenger terminal, which has an annual capacity of 1.4 million people. The expansion increased the passenger handling capacity of the airport to 1.4 million people per year.
It included reconfiguring the two levels of the terminal, restructuring the baggage handling and arrivals areas, and reconfiguring and expanding the waiting rooms.
The expansion was designed by GPC Architect Consortium.
